Convenient schedules for long distance travel meets every other weekend.
Options for Class Locations and Schedules
Every Other Weekend Classes
Our classes are weekend classes that usually meet every other weekend from September through June. The advantages of every other weekend are: families don’t have to sacrifice every weekend away from home and church, and it permits enough time to integrate the homework and massage practice. Classes meet Saturday and Sunday, with some Fridays (see schedule on the following page for exact days). See the chart below for specific hours. There is a Clinic Week to celebrate the conclusion of the Advanced Level III courses from Thursday through Sunday for your on the job training. We usually graduate the last night of the clinic week.
Clinic attendance is mandatory.
Class options have always commenced since the inception of our school for 17 years except once when we cancelled the St. Ignace class because of low enrollment. We like to have a minimum of 14 students for the St. Ignace class. If we have less than 14 then we have some creative ways to still schedule a St. Ignace class without cancelling it. During times of low
enrollment we may ask the St. Ignace class to attend the Hancock location a couple/few extra weekends. So far it has never been more than one more weekend than is posted. We have found this builds community in the program and keeps the class convenient for our Eastern Yooper and Northern Michigan mitten friends.

About the Class Scheduling and Absence.
Most class meetings are 2 day weekends with about 6 extra Fridays scheduled per location. It is possible to miss every Friday but after 3 Fridays students are required to make up the missed hours at the other class location and can be done on a Saturday or Sunday. Students are welcome to attend both locations and some do as they like the extra learning enforcement and instruction. Students may miss 2.5 class days (24 hours).
Our St. Ignace class is required to meet at the Hancock Campus for 2 of the weekends through the schedule. St. Ignace comes to Hancock Mid term week of December 16th through 18th and Clinic week (on the job training) is June 13th through 16th. Attendance for midterm and clinic week is mandatory and there are no exceptions for absence.
